What we take

  • Furniture — couches, mattresses, dressers, tables
  • Appliances, including fridges and freezers (refrigerant handled properly)
  • Electronics and TVs (routed to e-waste recycling)
  • Yard waste, fencing, and renovation debris
  • Hot tubs, sheds, and trampolines (with disassembly)
  • Scrap metal, bikes, exercise equipment, tools

What we can't take

Some items are regulated in Alberta and can't go on a regular junk truck: household chemicals, propane tanks, ammunition, and asbestos-containing material. Calgary landfills have free household hazardous waste drop-offs for chemicals and paint — ask us and we'll point you to the closest one.

How pricing works

Most single-item pickups run $150–$300. Larger loads — a garage cleanout, a full basement, a hoarded room — scale from there, typically $300–$1,000. We quote flat rates based on volume, weight, and item type. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Same-week (and often same-day)

Common Questions

Junk removal FAQs

How much does a cleanout cost?
Most cleanouts run between $300 and $1,000, depending on volume and what needs hauling. Larger estate or full-property jobs can go higher. We quote a flat rate before starting — the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
How long does it take?
Most jobs are completed in a single visit — typically a few hours for smaller spaces, a full day for larger ones.
Do I need to be there?
It helps to be there at the start to point out anything you want kept, but many customers head off once we get going. We confirm anything questionable before it leaves.
What happens to the stuff?
Usable items get sorted for donation, and metal and e-waste get recycled where possible. Landfill is our last resort, not our first stop.
